Death by blogging? No thanks.

I read the NYT article last weekend about bloggers dropping stone cold and dead on their keyboards from stress and lack of sleep and real life activities. Like many of you I smiled, shrugged my shoulders and went on to read the rest of my unread items in my Google Reader. The silent mornings with readings and hot coffee before the kids wake up are priceless.

Oh yeah. Cause come monday morning I was rushed to the hospital with an acute heart condition, resulting in blocking of two of the coronary arteries, or percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) as they call it at Ullevål hospital.

Oh yeah, I’ve changed my life since then. I’ve stopped smoking and startet running in the woods for an hour a day. Food is no longer what it used to be,  and I’am determined never to have to cut my life short again. I mean, I can always reboot my Microsoft infested PC.  Worst case scenario is buying a Macintosh, which would probably be the best case scenario – both for the computer and my dodgy heart.

The heart still beating inside my chest is another matter entirely. It will only run on native OS, this old train wreck of a body. Time for maintenance.
