Today I accidently discovered Brooke Fraser and her song “Shadowfeet” through Twitter and her dedicated fan Brian Gardner. In addition to the interesting lyrics and melody, I caught myself studying the faces in the video…. and were almost hypnoticed. Who are these people and what are their stories?
OK, so it’s a music video. But I looked at the faces again and again… and allowed myself to create stories for each person… and a fantastic image of a community and story evolved in my head. They all seem somewhat happy and safe, seem to be believing in the lyrics; I’ll be found in you. Still standing.
