Textflow – a promising new collaborating tool

by Pål Hivand on onsdag 25. juni 2008 · 2 comments

From the looks of it, Textflow is a new and quite cool tool for simultaneously collaborating online on documents. Instead of working on version controlled static documents, all the elements (paragraphs, sentences and words) of the Textflow-document are stored as database elements and the WeaveSync technology tracs any variation and changes in the text.

To create TextFlow, we began by ignoring how today’s word processors are designed, and painted our dream scenario. TextFlow now realizes our long-held vision of how word processing should work.

What the FAQ? TextFlow is owned and developed by Pado Metaware AB, a privately held Swedish company. Launch is set for november 2008, but launch of beta version is estimated summer 2008. I’ ve signed up for it.
